1066 War

1066 is an in-depth turn-based strategy war game where the goal is to out-wit and out-fight the opponents troops. Choose between the English, Viking, or Norman army which each have their own particular strengths and weaknesses relating to certain types of troops and attacks.

The game is played in two phases; Select commands and execute commands. Troops can be moved or given other instructions such as fight and defend by using the 'Battle Map' located at the bottom of the screen. This battle map shows the position of your troops and the enemy troops on the five possible lines of battle. During the 'Select Commands' phase, the player can click on each individual unit to assign orders.

Use the mouse to control the game by assigning orders to your troops on the battle map.

Up / Down Arrow Keys = View different rows

Left / Right Arrow Keys = Scroll Battlefield
